Passionate, strong, and sassy - this girl belongs to God - and with that, comes a certain restraint. Bridled by the Holy Spirit, sassyness and passion become sources of freedom and joy.

Q. When does the "thorn" become a "blessing?"
A. When you accept it. (ie. embrace, befriend, recieve, hold, understand, allow, admit, affirm, acknowledge)
Think about it! It's within your grasp!

Great question!
The answer is why Paul was able to say that he was content at all times. It is why James teaches us to "count it a blessing" when we go through difficulty. And it is why Jesus tells us that we will be overcomers!
Only one who goes through great diffiulty and chooses to keep their eyes on what is real can come to the place of understanding this concept.
Thanks for asking the question! It will cause us to think.
Thanks for that comment! I think we often forget to think of the thorn in positive terms. As you've clearly stated, the scripture admonish us to think beyond the vision of our current circumstances.
